<description>First off thanks for taking the time to write a post in response to mine, atleast I struck a chord with some people. I have a couple responses to your take on the blended life idea that I proposed.

You mention not being able to put your thoughts on the topic into words until you read the comments for a few days. I think this is because the commenters assumed I was saying things that I never said. Many assumed I work all of the time because I talk of blending, but in reality all I am saying is if we don't assign the labels of &quot;work&quot; and &quot;life&quot; to different tasks, then there wont need to be this balance.

Also, Im not advocating multitasking, I am advocating flexibility. Im sure you have this as an entrepreneur so its not a big deal for you, but in the corporate world people tend to completely shut down when not in the office because they often sit in their cubes for 9 or 10 hours a day.

The notion that work is not a part of your life is the real issue here. Of course work is part of your life, you spend the majority of your waking hours working; are you not living as well? I posted a follow up article on my website http://employeeevolution.com if you are interested.
